Funds raised by the choir
Total funds raised by the choir in 2018-2019 was £4,500.
Funds raised from Christmas Card Donations (Dec 2018) – £72. £36 to HARP and £36 to Bust.
Funds raised at Remembrance Concert (10/11/18) – proceeds plus bucket collection totalled £1255 to be divided between RAF Benevolent Fund and the Royal British Region.
Funds raised for Nepalese school (29/9/18) – total funds raised including ticket sales, raffle, refreshments, bucket collection were £1210. Well done everybody.
We raised £851.27 at our concert with the Salvation Army Band on 14th July for their charity.
Hats for Headway – Tanya raised £156.51 from members of the tour choir for this charity.
Funds raised for the ForWards Appeal – April 2018: At our 10th Anniversary Reunion Concert, we raised £360.26 for the For Wards Appeal. [Background info: To mark the 20th Anniversary of the Southend Hospital Charitable Foundation, the For Wards Appeal aims to raise £500,000 for 20 transformational projects across 20 different areas of Southend Hospital.]
The Jazz Centre – March 2018: The choir donated £450 to this charity after its All That Jazz concert.
Hadleigh Methodist Church Defibrillator – February 2018: The choir donated £302.51 to the church towards the purchase of a defibrillator. £152.51 was raised in our bucket collection and the rest was paid for by the choir. The church have thanked us for our generous donation.
Helen Rollason Charity Collection – February 2018: We raised £319.22 for the Helen Rollason charity from our bucket collection after The Singing Birds Concert on Saturday 10 February 2018.
Remembrance Concert – November 2017: £900 was shared between the Royal British Legion and The Royal Airforce Benevolent Fund.
Grenfell Tower Appeal: – The choir donated £761.92 towards this Appeal.
