DATA PROTECTION

Although we are a registered charity, we recognise that we process “personal data” as defined in the Data Protection Act 1998.  As part of our compliance, we have  completed a Notification with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) – the enforcement body for the legislation.  This details to a certain extent our processing of data and can be found on ICO’s website, www.ico.gov.uk in the Public Register of Data Controllers.

All the data we process is held securely and not shared with third parties unless we are required to do so as part of our activities, accounting procedures and/or by UK law.
We are not aware of any cookies used by our website on your system unless they are “strictly necessary” for you to view the site itself.

None of the above affects your rights of access under the legislation.  Should you wish to make a request for any personal data we may hold on you, you should submit this request in writing (email is acceptable) to The Vice Chairman, Data Protection Officer at the organisation.  We reserve the right to charge the £10 administration fee which is payable in advance and is non-refundable.
