Janet is the Head of Music at West Leigh Junior School where she runs a thriving music department. Under her direction the school choirs have performed at the Royal Festival Hall, the Queen Elizabeth Hall and the Purcell Room, as well as being regular performers at St. Paul’s Church, Covent Garden.
She is in much demand as an accompanist and plays for several choirs and societies in the Southend area and for soloists, including three Southend Young Musicians of the Year. Janet is and has been the accompanist to the Leigh Orpheus Male Voice Choir since 1988 and the Orpheus Singers since their inception in 2008.
